A Cabin Fusing Elegant Design and Cutting-Edge Technology
Bentley's vision of the future luxury car, the EXP 12 Speed 6e, was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Its exterior evolves the design presented in 2015 at the same Geneva show with theEXP 10 Speed 6EXP 10 Speed 6.
This two-seater convertible features contactless fast charging and is said to offer a range of approximately 300 kilometers on a single charge, enough for a journey from London to Paris or Milan to Monaco.
The exterior features Bentley's signature mesh grille, rendered in a 3D form. The '6e' logo illuminates in bright white while driving. The side mirrors are replaced by cameras, enabling a sleeker design.
The cabin exudes elegance with its graceful curves, while also incorporating the latest technology. The central tunnel houses a high-resolution OLED display for navigation, entertainment, and climate control adjustments.
The steering wheel, featuring a cut-off top design, is adorned with handcrafted cut glass and integrates controls for media, communication, navigation, and various vehicle settings. Two buttons are positioned at the top of the steering wheel: one for a momentary power boost and the other for limiting speed in urban areas.
Furthermore, a dedicated control panel on the passenger side fascia provides access to social media, email, and entertainment functions.
Bentley has already announced its plan to introduce plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models across its entire lineup within the next few years. The first PHEV is scheduled for introduction in 2018 with theBentaygamodel.
