CITROEN Adds Top-Tier "Ultra Prestige" Model to DS3

Peugeot Citroën Japan has launched the "DS3 Ultra Prestige," an addition to its premium compact hatchback "DS3," designed to evoke a sense of luxury with special roof stickers and high-quality leather interiors.

Chic, Like Haute Couture

The DS3 Ultra Prestige imbues the DS3 with a special exterior and interior, aiming for an image akin to haute couture.

The exterior features a dedicated pattern sticker on the roof, which Peugeot Citroën Japan calls LUXE, dark chrome accents on the grille and rear bumper, and 17-inch two-tone grey alloy wheels.

The interior extensively uses club leather, with seats designed in a black and white two-tone inspired by watch straps. An 8-speaker audio system is standard.

The Ultra Prestige is available in two trims: the "Chic" with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine and 4-speed automatic transmission producing 120ps, and the "Sport Chic" with a 1.6-liter turbo and 6-speed manual transmission producing 156ps. Pricing is ¥2.86 million for the former and ¥2.99 million for the latter. While only the Sport Chic of the regular DS3 is available by order, both Ultra Prestige models are made-to-order.
