Honda will exhibit its new fuel cell electric vehicle, the "FCEV Concept," at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which opens its press days on November 19th. While only design sketches are available at this time, the illustrations suggest a sleek, aerodynamically optimized body.
This new model, the successor to the "FCX Clarity" fuel cell vehicle that Honda released on a lease basis in 2008, is scheduled for release in Japan and the United States in 2015, followed by Europe.
Fuel cells, which generate electricity and water using hydrogen, are being developed by various companies as a clean and universally accessible power source for the near future. Indeed, Toyota's fuel cell vehicle, theFCV CONCEPT, also slated for release in 2015, has been revealed, much like this "FCEV Concept."
