Peugeot Citroen's New Generation Platform EMP2
Unveiled on the main stage by Citroen was the "Technospace." This is the successor to the 7-seater C4 Picasso, a model that enjoyed enduring popularity and a cult following in Japan for its unique styling and exceptional space efficiency.
Development is proceeding using what PSA calls the EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform2), a new-generation platform. The presenter proudly stated, "We've achieved significant efficiency improvements compared to the first generation, with CO2 emissions of just 98g/km, and incorporated a wealth of technology to create a highly expressive and original design that is unmistakably a C4 Picasso."
