who passed away on July 2, 2012,The concept model "Sergio," dedicated to the master of automotive design, Sergio Pininfarina, has finally shed its veil as a two-seater open-top sports car.
This model is a modern reinterpretation of the achievements led by Sergio Pininfarina, with exclusivity, innovation, and passion as its keywords.
Pininfarina further describes the "Sergio" as exceptionally compact, sporty, racy, pure, and sensual.
True to Pininfarina's style, the base is Ferrari's458 Spider.
Paolo Pininfarina, Sergio Pininfarina's son and current chairman of Pininfarina, stated, "My father would also be proud of this concept model. This is because the model expresses the aesthetic values that were the origin of his ideas – clean lines, harmonious shapes, and balanced proportions. And he would also be happy that this is based on a Ferrari. Pininfarina's history is intertwined with Ferrari's, and together we have developed a definition of timeless beautiful cars. This 60-year history shows no signs of ending."
Also exhibited at the venue, alongside the "Sergio," was the "Dino Berlinetta Special" unveiled at the 1965 Paris Motor Show. This is a historic car that later led to the "Dino" produced by Ferrari.
