A World of Four Colors, Indicated by the Compass

The visual personality of this collection lies in its four-color dials. White represents the "North" covered in ice, brown the "South" of continents and plains, green the "West" of deep forests and tropical jungles, and blue the horizon of the "East" where sea and sky merge. Each corresponds to a cardinal direction on a compass, evoking memories of different adventures with every wear. The cool presence of the titanium case, which blends seamlessly with both suits and casual wear, further enhances the rich colors of the dials, expanding the possibilities for wear in any situation.

This series began with the prototype "Overseas Dual Time," created for photographer and explorer Cory Richards, which underwent field testing during his Everest ascent in 2019. In 2021, two models, a chronograph and a dual time, were released as the limited edition titanium "Overseas Everest," faithfully inheriting the aesthetic of the prototype. The "Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points," announced this time, is its successor, and Richards himself speaks of its spiritual essence:

"The concept that people are constantly in motion deeply resonated with me. It is the essence of being human. Whether it's an adventure into the external world or a journey into one's inner self, it always guides us toward what gives our lives direction. And in that process of exploration, we not only come to know the world but also discover ourselves."

The dual time display, forged in extreme environments, is now a feature that shines in the daily lives of modern individuals operating on a global stage.

"Wearing this timepiece makes me feel like I've stepped deeper into an adventure with Vacheron Constantin. And it also serves as a reminder of the desire to continue unraveling and exploring."

This attitude of continuous self-questioning through a watch is precisely why this collection possesses a philosophical depth that transcends mere sports watches.

The self-winding Caliber 5110 DT/3, manufactured in-house, can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. It has been awarded the Geneva Seal, guaranteeing not only precision but also the quality of its traditional finishing, attesting to its exceptional beauty.

Interchangeable System: Instantly Switch Between Three Styles

A significant appeal of the new Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points is its flexibility, allowing for style changes to suit the occasion or mood. The integrated titanium bracelet, included as standard, presents a dressy appearance with its meticulously crafted half-Maltese cross links, combining polished and satin-brushed finishes.

Additionally, two rubber straps are included. One is an orange rubber strap with a three-dimensional texture inspired by the Maltese cross, perfect for an active style. The other is a rubber strap in a tone matching the dial color, with subtle sporty orange saddle stitching.

The collection's signature interchangeable system allows for instant swapping of all these straps without the need for tools. There's no hassle of removing links, and you can change your look while maintaining a perfect fit. From the cool, urban aesthetic of titanium to casual and colorful ensembles, this single watch accommodates a wide range of styles.

Straps can be attached and detached simply by pressing the push buttons located on the back. They can be easily swapped without tools.

At Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, which opened on April 14th, Vacheron Constantin unveiled a highly anticipated new release. The new horizons of adventure that the Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points portends are boundless. Keep your eyes on Vacheron Constantin.

Frequently Asked Questions about Vacheron Constantin Watches

Q. What is the history of Vacheron Constantin?

Vacheron Constantin is one of the oldest watchmaking houses in the world, founded in Geneva by Jean-Marc Vacheron in 1755. For over 270 years, the company has continuously produced timepieces without interruption. By consistently pursuing high technical skill and artisanal finishing, it has earned the support of collectors and enthusiasts worldwide as a maison at the pinnacle of Swiss luxury watchmaking.

Q. What is the background behind the Overseas collection?

An essential part of understanding the modern form of the Overseas collection is its connection with photographer and explorer Cory Richards. In 2019, a prototype "Overseas Dual Time" specially created for Richards was born after undergoing field testing in the extreme environment of an Everest ascent. From this origin, the limited edition titanium "Overseas Everest" was created in 2021, and the "Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points" is positioned as its spiritual successor.

Q. What are the benefits of a lightweight titanium case for daily wear?

Titanium is approximately 40% lighter than stainless steel and possesses higher strength. In the "Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points," these properties make it less fatiguing to wear for extended periods, offering practical utility ideal for international business trips and long journeys. Furthermore, its cool, urban aesthetic blends naturally with everything from suits to casual wear, expanding styling options for any occasion.
