Three new models in the Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive Diver 200m collection | CITIZEN

A modern update to the powerful design of the 1982 Professional Diver.
From the "Citizen Promaster" collection, three "Eco-Drive Diver 200m" models are scheduled for release in July 2021, inheriting the design of a diver's watch that boasted the world's best pressure resistance of 1300 meters when it was first launched in 1982.

A diver's watch with a unique design, achieving robustness and lightness.
The "Professional Diver," released in 1982, boasted the world's best 1300-meter water resistance at the time, featuring a unique and distinctive design with a lugless case silhouette, four bezel guards, and a deeply textured rotating bezel.
While inheriting that design, three new "Eco-Drive Diver 200m" models have been announced with a modern update. The combination of a rounded, voluminous case and an edgily designed bezel gives this watch its power and individuality. The dial, like the original model, features a sandblasting process using abrasive grit, recreating a unique texture.
The "BN0220-16E," which utilizes the inherent gray of titanium, features a Super Titanium™ case with "Duratect MRK" processing, paired with a dial that follows the original design. The "BN0227-09L" with its nature-inspired blue camouflage dial and the "BN0228-06W" with its green camouflage dial are finished in darker tones with "Duratect MRK" and "Duratect DLC" processing.
All models enhance legibility with large hour and minute hands and indices, refined into a powerful design. The case diameter remains 46.5mm, following the original, but the thickness has been slightly reduced for improved wearability.
Furthermore, the搭載 of Eco-Drive light-powered movement, eliminating the need for regular battery changes, is also appealing. In terms of performance, it offers 200-meter diving water resistance that meets ISO standards.
Of this lineup, two models, the nature-inspired "BN0227-09L" and "BN0228-06W," will contribute a portion of their sales to the marine conservation activities of the international NGO "Conservation International" as part of "Save the BEYOND," a global campaign launched by "Citizen Promaster" in 2019, continuing efforts to build a sustainable society through the preservation of the global environment.
