The new "BR 05 Horolum," a sporty-chic model that complements an inorganic urban style, is released in a limited edition of 250 pieces for boutiques.
The "Horolum" series, which debuted in 2017 and garnered attention, now welcomes the "BR 05 Horolum" as a new addition to the "BR 05" collection. Its iconic "circle within a square" case features indices coated with powerful Super-LumiNova® C5, ensuring exceptional legibility day and night.
A Minimalist Aesthetic Inspired by Modern Architecture
Bell & Ross has released the "BR 05 Horolum," a new iteration of the popular "Horolum" series that first appeared in 2017. The name is a portmanteau of "Horo," referring to watchmaking and time, and "Lum," meaning light.
This series retains the brand's iconic "circle within a square" case design, with screws replicated at the four corners. The numerals and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova® C5, the most potent variant, whose intense green hue evokes the runway lights of an airport at night.
This sporty-chic series is designed for an urban lifestyle, with a more elegant case and softened edges to align with current trends. The integrated full-metal bracelet merges seamlessly with the case, creating a unified form. Elements like the bead-blasted finish on the case and the photoluminescent indices on the dial are carried over from the original "BR 03-92 Horolum" model.
The new "BR 05 Horolum" features an even more inorganic aesthetic. Its lines and finishes evoke the forms of modern architecture and the strong, rugged concrete walls that constitute urban landscapes, serving as an homage to minimalism and technical form. The hands and indices on the dial are coated with Super-LumiNova® C5, the most powerful photoluminescent coating available. It charges quickly and ensures exceptional brightness day and night, glowing with enhanced power after dark for perfect clarity.
The automatic movement, Caliber CAL.321, housed within the case, is attractively visible through the sapphire crystal case back. It features a 360-degree oscillating weight inspired by the wheel rims of sports cars. The "BR 05 Horolum" is available in a limited edition of 250 pieces for boutiques, and in Japan, it will be exclusively sold at the Ginza boutique.
