TAG Heuer has unveiled a Japan-exclusive black edition of its iconic "Carrera Chronograph." Dressed in a bold black, this model boasts a sporty, refined, and stylish appearance and will be available in a limited run of 300 pieces.

TAG Heuer has announced the "TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 Japan Black Edition," limited to 300 pieces. Since the 1960s, the "Carrera" collection has been intrinsically linked to the thrilling world of motor racing, and inspired by Jack Heuer's visionary design, it has produced numerous legendary timepieces.

Now, bold creativity has been infused once again into the popular "TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph" that debuted in 2020, resulting in a full-black statement piece featuring a 44mm stainless steel case and dial with black DLC coating.

This new exclusive model perfectly embodies TAG Heuer's DNA of action and elegance. The chic phantom black alligator leather strap seamlessly complements the sporty style while ensuring a comfortable fit. On the dial, Carrera's signature faceted indices and hands, finished with black gold plating, are complemented by chronograph counters with circular brushing and azurage, adding depth and a sophisticated aura.

The sapphire crystal specially used for the case back of this model is inspired by "Moegi-iro," a traditional Japanese color used in kimonos since the Heian period. The green color, visible only when the watch is removed, is particularly striking.

Furthermore, the movement is the cutting-edge automatic chronograph movement "Calibre Heuer 02," manufactured in TAG Heuer's manufacture in Chevenez, Switzerland. This movement comprises 168 components, including a column wheel and a vertical clutch, offering exceptional chronograph timing performance and approximately 80 hours of power reserve.
