On January 19, 2026, TAG Heuer unveiled the new "TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph" at the LVMH Watch Week held in Milan, Italy. While inheriting the glass box design revived in 2023, it now features a 41mm case size to appeal to a wider range of watch enthusiasts.

Inheriting a Racing Heritage
The "TAG Heuer Carrera" was born in 1963, created by Jack Heuer, a member of the founding family, for the purpose of motorsport timing. It is a masterpiece of a chronograph named after the legendary road race "Carrera Panamericana México."

It established exceptional legibility and excellent balance required in the fast-paced world of racing, embodying precision, clarity, and a bold design spirit for over 60 years.
In 2023, to commemorate its 60th anniversary, the glass box design, characterized by a curved sapphire crystal and a flowing flange, was revived. The 41mm model announced this time is positioned as a collection that adds depth alongside the 39mm heritage model, based on the 2023 model.
Notably, it ensures high legibility that embodies the original vision of founder Jack Heuer. The three-dimensional sapphire crystal curves seamlessly along the dial and flange, capturing light from every angle.
The clean dial features tone-on-tone counters, achieving both depth and readability. The meticulously considered design results in a stoic yet elegant appearance, allowing for intuitive reading of the chronograph functions.
The new model is available in three color variations. The signature blue model features a circular satin-finished dial that emits a delicate sheen when catching the light, with tone-on-tone azurage counters and rhodium-plated hands and indices ensuring excellent legibility.
The teal green model is characterized by a deep hue that becomes TAG Heuer's new signature color. It changes its expression with the angle of light and the movement of the wrist, revealing subtle nuances of color.
The black dial model is a bold edition that strongly reflects the world of motorsport. Red accents are placed throughout, and the deep black dial creates a vivid contrast with the red chronograph hands and outer ring, evoking the energy of the racetrack.
The movement is the in-house "TH20-01," boasting approximately 80 hours of power reserve. Equipped with a vertical-clutch, column wheel, and bidirectional automatic winding mechanism, it ensures smooth and highly accurate chronograph functions. The transparent sapphire case back allows for appreciation of the movement, adorned with intricate geometric patterns.
On the case back, on the right side towards the wearer, an engraving of a "crown of victory" pays homage to the spirit of continuous challenge and triumph, connecting the owner to TAG Heuer's motorsport heritage.
All models come with TAG Heuer's proprietary seven-row stainless steel bracelet, a modern reinterpretation of the beads of rice design.
The new "TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph" sublimates the spirit of innovation passed down over 60 years into a refined expression, proving that a true icon watch is constantly evolving.
