Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer has unveiled a new limited collector's piece, the TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 Special Edition. This special model expresses a modern, sporty style through its unexpected use of titanium, applied to a timeless design inspired by the world of motorsport. This exceptional chronograph, blending timeless elegance with bold design, will be released in a limited edition of 500 pieces worldwide.

A robust, ultra-lightweight titanium case expresses a modern, sporty style

The "Heuer Monaco" was born in 1969. Named after one of the most glamorous races in the Formula 1 World Championship, this collection became a symbolic presence that continued to influence not only its era but also future generations, with its bold design featuring a blue dial, red and light blue hands, and above all, a square waterproof case housing the world's first automatic chronograph movement, with its crown positioned on the left side.

The new TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 Special Edition added to this collection features a sporty titanium case. Grade 2 titanium, known for its lightness and excellent durability, is given a matte finish through sandblasting, enhancing its natural beauty and adding a further touch of sophistication.

The striking silver dial, unusual for the TAG Heuer Monaco collection, offers excellent legibility while creating a beautiful contrast with the titanium case, sub-dial indices, and hands. The black sub-dials, the vibrant red accent on the central hands, and the red index marker at 12 o'clock evoke racing circuits and TAG Heuer's official colors, while lending a cool impression to the entire watch.

The sporty anthracite alligator leather strap is also inspired by the world of motor racing, with a design reminiscent of racing car tire treads. The indices and sub-dials are coated with Super-LumiNova®, ensuring optimal legibility under all conditions.
