Achieving a beautiful celestial display, clear sound, and high precision through the latest proprietary technology.

From the Master Collection's ultra-complicated watch series, launched in 2009, a triple complication model with celestial display and sidereal calendar functions has finally arrived. By adopting a silicon escapement that is ultra-lightweight and unaffected by magnetism, and a flying tourbillon mechanism, and by implementing the 1000-hour Chronometry Test, it achieves the highest class of precision for a mechanical wristwatch. The minute repeater mechanism also incorporates original technologies, including crystal gongs, producing a beautiful sound that is distinct from typical minute repeaters. The dial has a three-dimensional structure composed of two layers of discs. The bottom disc rotates once every 24 hours and indicates the time along the outer edge of the dial. Above this is a blue celestial display disc that rotates once every 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 4 seconds. On top of this, the cage of the flying tourbillon, linked to the star chart, rotates once per minute, creating an intricate structure.

Manual winding, white gold case, crocodile strap, 44mm case diameter, sapphire crystal case back, limited to 75 pieces worldwide, ¥34,650,000 (estimated price), scheduled for release in October.

BRAND HISTORY

Among Swiss watchmaking, this is one of the few brands that has consistently maintained its history as a manufacture brand since its founding. Its origins trace back to a watch parts manufacturing company opened by Antoine LeCoultre in 1833. He made a living designing machine tools for watchmaking, and he successively invented useful machine tools that improved watch quality, greatly influencing the watch industry. He also began manufacturing movements himself.

In 1903, the watch workshop left by Antoine LeCoultre formed a business partnership with Edmond Jaeger, with whom they had a cooperative relationship through chronometer manufacturing. In '37, the company name was changed to the current Jaeger-LeCoultre. During this period, they continued their development efforts, creating the masterpiece rectangular watch, the "Reverso."

Jaeger-LeCoultre, which has developed a remarkable number of movements, currently develops new mechanisms that surpass those of other companies, while solidifying its own quality through its proprietary rigorous inspection system of 1000 hours, applied to all models. As of 2007, it has established four major lines: the rectangular "Reverso," the round "Master Control," the "Master Compressor" with enhanced water resistance achieved by a unique compression key, and the "Duomètre," newly added in 2007.

Furthermore, in 2007, they announced the "Master Compressor Extreme LAB," which achieved complete maintenance-free operation, a dream in the watchmaking world, demonstrating that their relentless development spirit only intensifies year by year. Experts worldwide watch with bated breath as Jaeger-LeCoultre develops new mechanisms.
