MIKIMOTO Unveils Spring Collection Ahead of Season
Delicate floral necklaces
Translucent colored stones
As the festive Christmas season begins to unfold, MIKIMOTO’s “Spring Collection 2010” offers an early glimpse of spring’s arrival.
The new motifs are colorful flowers and butterflies, inspired by Renaissance paintings. Each piece feels like wearing the warm breath of spring. The vibrant green of cloisonné and the red of spinel are striking, while pearl pendants and rings, reminiscent of clover crowns and necklaces, bring a sense of excitement. Meanwhile, the “Crossing Band Collection,” designed for stacking two rings, features translucent jewelry with pear-shaped colored stones. The fresh sparkle of citrine, peridot, and aquamarine will undoubtedly be the highlight of upcoming spring wardrobes.
Seasonal flowers in full bloom
Jewelry sets
From the “Cortège” collection, themed around the jewelry set “parure,” comes pastel-colored pieces resembling bouquets. Seasonal flowers such as roses, clematis, cosmos, and Euryops daisies bloom together within a single piece of jewelry. Adorned with three types of gold, Akoya pearls, aquamarine, and diamonds, these floral creations are accompanied by ladybugs and bees drawn to their nectar, evoking a small story from nature. The bracelet can also be worn as an obi clasp, and the pendant top doubles as a brooch, offering versatile styling options. This collection allows for personal expression, whether worn as a set or as individual pieces depending on the occasion.
All pieces will be released in February of next year. Amidst the deepening winter cold, this collection promises to heighten anticipation for the coming spring.
