German jewelry manufacturer Wellendorff has opened its 13th boutique worldwide at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo. To commemorate the opening of its first Japanese boutique, the special limited-edition "TOKYO RING" is also now available.

Elegance Overflowing with Brilliance, Embodying the World of Wellendorff

Wellendorff, a family-run jewelry manufacturer now in its fourth generation, was founded in 1893 in Pforzheim, the "Golden City" of southwestern Germany. Since then, it has produced jewelry of the highest caliber, guided by its motto of precision, craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail.

The brand's logo, the "Diamond W" adorned with gold and brilliant-cut diamonds, which is always stamped on its pieces, attests to the superior quality and original creation of every piece of jewelry.

The newly opened first store in Japan faithfully expresses the brand's style under a new boutique concept. Real gold leaf is used in the "floral pattern" engraved on the entrance marble. The interior, designed with bright and gentle color schemes, is truly an elegant space brimming with radiance and sophistication.

Regarding the boutique's opening, Christoph Wellendorff, the fourth-generation owner, commented, "Japan was the first place I visited on my honeymoon. Since then, I have admired and come to love this wonderful country, which, like Germany, appreciates artistry, precision, and high quality. I have always dreamed of opening a boutique in Tokyo one day."

To celebrate the opening, the "TOKYO RING," available exclusively at the Tokyo boutique, has been released in a limited edition. Crafted in yellow gold, the ring evokes a romantic atmosphere with its pink Wellendorff enamel and beautiful cherry blossom engravings. The decoration, reminiscent of Ukiyo-e, a traditional art form passed down in Japan for over 300 years, is said to be an homage to Tokyo.
