"Hu" = Human

This watch, which the designer himself describes as "the very image of a watch I have always held," can be called a new watch that pursues "humanness" in both form and material, by using contours based on anatomy and materials that allow for an organic design that integrates with the skin.

For example, the extension of the case is shaped to wrap around the wrist, and gentle-to-the-skin titanium is used. Furthermore, safe silicone for the human body is adopted for the band. The legibility is enhanced by tilting the dial 25 degrees to the right relative to the 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock direction, and by angling the glass surface in both the 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock and 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock directions, with ideas incorporated throughout.

This watch fuses the wonderful craftsmanship, style, material dedication, and a sense of tranquility that can be seen in the harmony with the human form expressed in Mr. Issey Miyake's clothing, with that sensibility," says Ross Lovegrove.
