From Friday, May 15th to Thursday, July 16th, 2009, the "TAG Heuer Diving Fair" will be held nationwide. The fair will feature a curated selection of new models, including the "Aquaracer 500M" announced at Basel and the "Aquaracer Ile des Pins Limited Edition".
The new "Aquaracer 500M" making its debut is a masterpiece that has received the Red Dot Award (the world's largest design competition, hosted annually by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany). While TAG Heuer leads the pack in sports watch brands, the company has also produced renowned pieces in the realm of dive watches.
The "Aquaracer" collection, in particular, carries a distinguished heritage, tracing its lineage back to the "1000" series introduced in 1979 by Honorary Chairman Jack Heuer – the first dive watch with a 200m water resistance.
