Lightweight Comfort with Super Titanium™ Case. "Mechanical Diver 200m"
Citizen has announced three new "Mechanical Diver 200m" models, featuring the new "Cal.9051" movement with enhanced magnetic resistance and a lightweight Super Titanium™ case. These additions to the PROMASTER Marine series, known for its professional sports watch performance, are scheduled for release in May 2021.

Enhanced Magnetic Resistance Protects Watch Accuracy from Digital Devices
The "Mechanical Diver 200m" is equipped with the new "Cal.9051" movement, which clears JIS Class 2 magnetic resistance standards. Utilizing Super Titanium™ for the case and separate bezel, treated with surface hardening technology Duratect, these new models achieve a lightness that belies their substantial appearance.
The new movement achieves high magnetic resistance through Citizen's proprietary anti-magnetic hairspring and the use of non-magnetic materials for surrounding components. JIS Class 2 magnetic resistance ensures performance is maintained even when within 1 cm of devices emitting 16,000 A/m of magnetic force. This allows for confident use not only in daily life surrounded by devices like smartphones but also on board ships equipped with magnetic compasses.
In addition to this high magnetic resistance, the watch offers robust performance for a mechanical timepiece, including ISO-compliant 200-meter water resistance for diving, a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound, and an average daily accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds. Luminous paint applied to the hour and minute hands and indices ensures excellent legibility.
The design features bold, trapezoidal protrusions around the case periphery, enhancing its powerful appearance and the grip of the bezel for improved usability. A fine pyramid pattern, resembling studs that create subtle shadows depending on the viewing angle, adorns the bezel and dial, contributing to a rugged impression. The strap is made of urethane and includes an extension band suitable for wear over a wetsuit.
