The "TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 Chronograph Porsche Special Edition" has been released to celebrate the new partnership between TAG Heuer and Porsche. It will be available in two models, paired with either a stainless steel bracelet or a black calfskin leather strap, and will come with a special travel pouch.

A Special Edition Merging the Heritage of Two Brands
Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer and German sports car manufacturer Porsche have announced a new partnership. Under this strong alliance, built on a shared DNA in motorsports and racing, a comprehensive and long-term collaboration will be established, spanning from racing participation to product development. As the first special edition to celebrate these two iconic brands, the new "TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 Chronograph Porsche Special Edition" has been unveiled.
The "Carrera" from both companies originates from the 1950s Carrera Panamericana race, in which Porsche achieved a class victory in 1954. To celebrate this racing success, Porsche named its most powerful engine at the time "Carrera."
Then, in 1963, the first Heuer Carrera Chronograph was introduced. This groundbreaking timepiece, designed for drivers to read the time at a glance, and Porsche's most powerful "Carrera" engine, embodying exceptional engineering, united Porsche and TAG Heuer through ambition, speed, and the spirit of racing.
This timepiece is based on the "TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph." It features a unique tachymeter scale engraved on the bezel, and incorporates numerous design elements inspired by the essence of Porsche's design.
The black bezel is engraved with "Porsche" in red, and the indices use Porsche's distinctive font. The asphalt finish on the grey dial expresses a passionate connection to the roads traveled by sports cars, while the Arabic numerals are inspired by the numbers on the dashboards of Porsche's luxury sports cars.
Black, red, and grey are not only Porsche's signature colors but also a combination used in TAG Heuer's historic models. This chronograph, a captivating fusion of two icons of performance, quality, and innovation, seamlessly blends the worlds of Porsche and TAG Heuer, embodying the excellence of both.
At the core of this timepiece is the in-house Calibre Heuer 02 movement. With a power reserve of approximately 80 hours and equipped with a vertical-clutch and column-wheel chronograph mechanism, it embodies the brand's unwavering pursuit of precision.
The movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. The case back has been newly designed as an affectionate tribute to the famous Porsche steering wheel, and is printed with the Porsche and TAG Heuer logos.
