Valentine's Day on February 14th: Speak of Love with Blancpain
February 14th, Valentine's Day, is here again. For years, Blancpain has celebrated this occasion by unveiling a limited-edition ladies' watch. This year, its new creation, the "Blancpain Woman Saint Valentine 2009," makes its debut in Japan.

Arriving from the manufacture in Le Brassus, Switzerland, this year's offering is a ladies' model featuring a flyback chronograph. The flyback function allows the chronograph hands to instantly return to zero and restart timing with a press of the reset button, even while timing is in progress.
This ladies' model, no less than its men's counterpart, utilizes the Calibre F185, based on a Frédéric Piguet movement. The beautifully decorated movement can be admired through the transparent case back, a delightful touch.
A watch with the functional face of a timekeeping instrument is transformed into a jewelry watch befitting a woman's wrist, through its delicate design. Particularly striking is the ruby heart motif, which shines brilliantly on the mother-of-pearl dial. The color red, symbolizing passion, is intentionally incorporated into the design, and on Valentine's Day, the date display is also adorned in the same deep crimson on the 14th.
A flyback chronograph that combines Blancpain's horological heritage with a soft, feminine aesthetic. Why not experience this romantic playfulness, unique to the once-a-year Valentine's Day?
