World Limited to 30 Pieces: Certain to Sell Out

In 2012,SIHH (Geneva Salon)Richard Mille's first special watch inspired by a skull, announced at the Geneva Salon, instantly sold out. Now, its second iteration has arrived.RM052 Tourbillon SkullThe second model, the "RM52-01 Tourbillon Skull Nano-Ceramic," has been unveiled.

The quirky design, with the movement itself shaped like a skull, remains the same, powered by the shock-resistant manual-winding RM052 tourbillon caliber, just like its predecessor. The skull, now in a more impactful 18K red gold, is adorned with stones set in a design that clamps the upper and lower jaws, while the four bridges connecting the movement to the case evoke a pirate flag. The back of the skull can also be viewed through the case back, showcasing the Maison's playful spirit.

The bezel and case back utilize TZP ceramic (tetragonal zirconia polycrystal ceramic), which is highly resistant to scratches. In addition to nano-ceramic, the middle case is combined with durable carbon composite, also used in rockets and F1 cars.

This new model increases the limited production to 30 pieces worldwide, double that of the previous version. However, this model is also expected to sell out quickly.
