The Villeret Collection: A Platinum Case Meets a Blue Dial

Among Blancpain's collections, renowned for their advanced craftsmanship, the Villeret collection expresses classicism with its purest silhouette. This year, a new model has arrived in the Villeret collection.

The "Villeret Perpetual Calendar," released in a small lot of 88 pieces worldwide, features a platinum case paired with a blue dial. It is equipped with an in-house perpetual calendar movement that displays the day of the week, date, month, and leap year until 2100, requiring no adjustments in between.

The dial features subdials at the 3, 9, and 12 o'clock positions, with the moon phase displayed at 6 o'clock. The automatic 5954 movement is equipped with a security system specially developed by Blancpain for this calendar module, carefully protecting it from improper handling.

Furthermore, this model incorporates Blancpain's patented under-lug corrector. By simply pressing the small "lever" on the back of the case with a finger, the calendar hands and moon phase can be easily adjusted. This mechanism is also aesthetically superior, successfully eliminating the collectors (push buttons) found on the case sides of many other calendar models.
