First introduced by Panerai in 2010 as a limited edition diver's watch with a legendary bronze case, this timepiece now joins the permanent collection with a new identity and appearance as the "Panerai Submersible Bronzo - 47mm."

A Unique Timepiece Through the Patina of Age

The "Panerai Submersible Bronzo - 47mm" in bronze, a material deeply connected to Panerai's historical background, has been newly added to the permanent collection. This new iteration boasts a rugged aesthetic and distinct character, featuring a unidirectional rotating bezel with a micro-blasted ceramic disc and the iconic crown-protecting bridge, patented by Panerai in 1955. The watch is completed by a brown dial and a natural leather strap, with an additional military green rubber strap included for diving excursions.

A key feature is the bronze case, which develops a unique patina over time. While treated with an anti-oxidization process to protect its internal structure, the gradual formation of verdigris on the surface makes each watch truly one-of-a-kind.

With water resistance to 30 bar, it ensures excellent legibility in any environment, including complete darkness. The small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock provides an at-a-glance confirmation of the watch's operation, while the unidirectional rotating bezel allows for the measurement of dive times.

This model is powered by the in-house P.9010 calibre, featuring a bidirectional winding rotor that provides a three-day power reserve. The "Panerai Submersible Bronzo - 47mm," with its robust character, is set to be available through all Panerai boutiques worldwide and its official website.
