Bauhaus-Style Limited Edition Enhances Legibility with Roman Numeral Indices

STOWA boasts a history of over 80 years and is a venerable brand that once supplied pilot watches to the former German Air Force. In 1996, it was taken over by Jörg Schauer, owner of the German watch brand Schauer, and relaunched in 2004 after eight years of research.
Inspired by several dials from his collection of hundreds of archival pieces, dating back to the 1930s and known as "Bauhaus style," Schauer, STOWA's owner and designer, created the "ANTEA 100 jahre BAUHAUS." The automatic rotor is engraved with a logo commemorating the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus and the serial number.

Jörg Schauer, owner and designer of STOWA.
Schauer commented on the design: "Roman numerals offer straighter, superior legibility compared to Arabic numerals. That's why we chose Roman numerals for this model, which is symmetrically composed around a central curve."
The precisely engraved markers exude a serene aesthetic, leading to a timeless design. This model is limited to 30 units in Japan and will be available at select TiCTAC stores and online.
