Introducing "Cortège" Total Coordination Jewelry

This year, MIKIMOTO, a jewelry maison celebrating 120 years since the invention of cultured pearls, will launch "Cortège" on March 1st (Friday). This total coordination jewelry allows for a variety of styles by combining items to suit fashion and occasions.

Two collections blend traditional techniques with a modern sensibility.

Dating back to around the 17th century in Europe, a set of matching jewelry made with the same designs and materials was called a "parure." "Cortège" is MIKIMOTO's infusion of contemporary aesthetics into this concept.

Two sets are offered. The first, inspired by the theme of MIKIMOTO's 120th anniversary of pearl invention, "DREAMS＆PEARLS ～Weaving Radiance Through Time～," features a necklace adorned with delicate flowers symbolizing "dream flowers," with pearls of varying sizes strung rhythmically, accompanied by a pin brooch with intricate openwork and earrings. The pin brooch can also be used as a pendant top, making this a versatile set for any occasion.

The second set features a modern design with two pendants, a brooch, and earrings or ear clips, incorporating traditional techniques like milgrain and openwork, accented with the black of cloisonné and onyx.
