A 2018 New Release, Further Refined from a Masterpiece

MAURICE LACROIX first introduced a model with a retrograde display in 1999. Since then, the Masterpiece collection has steadily evolved, transitioning from manual-winding to automatic movements and incorporating increasingly complex mechanisms.

The 2018 new release, the MAURICE LACROIX Masterpiece Calendrier Retrograde, features a retrograde mechanism where the date hand advances along an arched path, and upon reaching the final day of the month, it instantly jumps back to the first. The movement boasts rhodium-plated bridges adorned with Côtes de Genève decoration, polished edges, and a skeleton rotor also embellished with Côtes de Genève, showcasing the exquisite finishing characteristic of the Masterpiece collection throughout.

Two dial variations are available: silver and blue. The silver dial features a Clous de Paris hobnail pattern with finely pointed studs, while the blue dial is finished with a snail pattern and Côtes de Genève decoration, each presenting a distinct and beautiful aesthetic. The strap is made of alligator leather, and with the easy-changeable mechanism, wearers can enjoy swapping to their preferred strap according to the season or occasion.
