Maurice Lacroix has launched the "Aikon Skeleton Urban Tribe," featuring a bold skeleton form, as a new release for 2023. It is now available at authorized retailers nationwide.

Launched in 2021, Maurice Lacroix's "Aikon Urban Tribe," a timepiece for those who celebrate city life, sold out instantly. In 2023, the brand introduced the new "Aikon Skeleton Urban Tribe," inspired by urban themes. This model follows the styling of the "Aikon Urban Tribe" while adopting a more daring skeleton form. Maurice Lacroix, with its long history and expertise in crafting skeleton watches, has fully utilized its technical prowess here.

The case back is see-through, allowing for an in-depth appreciation of the movement's intricate structure, including the oscillating balance wheel. This automatic ML135 movement (based on the SW200) was co-developed with movement specialist Sellita and features beautiful perlage finishing with a scale-like pattern and Cotes de Geneve decoration. Light passes through the skeletonized openings, revealing countless artistic components. The hour and minute hands on the dial are faceted to catch the light and coated with Super-LumiNova®, framed by a dark grey flange for a modern aesthetic.

The 39mm stainless steel case and bracelet are boldly engraved with intricate, delicate motifs inspired by the vibrant streets, cityscapes, and architectural structures of bustling metropolises, rendered using laser technology. Like other "Aikon" series models, this watch features Maurice Lacroix's proprietary Easychangeable system, allowing for effortless strap changes between the bracelet and leather straps without special tools. This uniquely designed and sophisticated "Aikon Skeleton Urban Tribe" is offered as a worldwide limited edition of 500 pieces.
