From the Swiss luxury watch brand MAURICE LACROIX comes the new "Aikon Automatic Skeleton Black," a recipient of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award, released in a world limited edition of 250 pieces.

The MAURICE LACROIX "Aikon Automatic Skeleton Black" is a new creation that embodies the brand's dedication to innovative technology, presented in a design that is both traditional and contemporary. This timepiece earned the 2019 Red Dot Design Award for its innovative combination of an aggressive case design with distinctive arms and the beautifully intricate openwork of its skeletonized movement.

Reimagined from the 1990s bestseller "Calypso," this model inherits its unique identity, including the integrated waterproof case, the flat sapphire crystal surrounded by a bezel with six arms, and the applied "M" logo on the strap.

Further enhancing its appeal is the avant-garde black finish. The 45mm stainless steel case is coated in matte black via PVD treatment, while the visible movement through the dial is adorned with the exquisite openwork developed for the "Masterpiece Collection." The automatic Caliber ML234, the movement powering this watch, is a skeletonized automatic movement based on the in-house manual-winding Caliber ML134. The graphically processed movement features five black DLC-coated concentric circles arranged like ripples. Super-LumiNova is applied to the indexes and hands, ensuring excellent legibility in the dark and an overwhelming presence.

Unlike previous Aikon series models, the "Aikon Automatic Skeleton Black" captures the viewer's gaze, with its all-encompassing black color absorbing light. Emerging from this deep black, the monochrome and dark timepiece features bold yet elegant curves that accentuate its masculine charm, embodying a modern, avant-garde individuality and beauty.
