The "Mach 2000 Diode" is reissued

A watch with a retro-futuristic vibe
In 1976, LIP was one of the first to adopt diode technology, then cutting-edge, and commissioned Roger Tallon, a master of French modern design, to create the "Mach 2000 Diode."
Roger Tallon is known for designing a wide range of products, including the "Mach 2000," which has become synonymous with LIP, as well as the high-speed TGV train, home appliances, and tableware.
The reissued "Mach 2000 Diode" features a design that evokes a retro-futuristic atmosphere. The square case and the light from the diodes illuminating the display give it a modern impression.
While the original 1976 model was only available with red diodes, this new model incorporates modern LED technology and comes in two colors: blue and orange. Although the design is more contemporary, the functionality remains largely the same as the original. The distinctive mechanism, where the time is only displayed when the button is pressed, is the charm of the "Mach 2000 Diode."
