A Limited Edition Model Saluting the Golden Age of Motor Racing
The "Autavia" was born in 1933 as an instrument for the cockpits of racing cars and aircraft, its name a portmanteau of "automobile" and "aviation."
In 1962, Jack Heuer adopted the name "Autavia" for the first chronograph wristwatch to feature a bidirectional rotating bezel. Its exceptional performance and design made it a favorite among many motor racers and captivated the public of the era.
The "Autavia" reissued as this limited edition was conceived by Jack Heuer himself, embodying the spirit of motor racing's golden age. It is powered by the in-house developed Calibre Heuer 02 movement, boasting an 80-hour power reserve.
The bidirectional rotating bezel is crafted from aluminum, and the silver dial features black counters with an azurage finish.
The case back is adorned with the Heuer family crest and Jack Heuer's signature, along with an engraved serial number. This timepiece encapsulates the golden age of motor racing and Jack Heuer's passion for watchmaking.
