The "TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45" features the ability to swap the digital connected module for a mechanical watch module (three-hand or COSC-certified chronograph tourbillon). In terms of exterior, a wide range of combinations are possible through variations in materials and colors.

This concept extends to the lugs, straps, and buckles. Not only can the internal components be exchanged, but also the straps and individual details.

The case (watch module) alone can be chosen from satin or polished grade 5 titanium, 18K pink gold plate, black ceramic, with or without diamond settings.

Ten core types and 46 additional customizable options are available, totaling 56 variations. Adding accessories further expands the possibilities.

Designed, manufactured, and assembled by artisans in TAG Heuer's Swiss workshops, just like their mechanical timepieces.

It features an Intel® Atom™ processor Z34XX series CPU, an NFC sensor for payments compatible with GPS and Android Pay, and 50m water resistance. The high-resolution AMOLED screen offers over 4,000 watch face designs, and naturally, you can set your own photos as the standby screen. TAG Heuer has also developed and released the Android Wear 2.0 compatible app, Companion, which is also usable by iPhone users.

Only high-quality materials such as titanium, ceramic, and pink gold are used for the watch's exterior, with meticulous attention paid to every detail.

The "TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45" will be available starting Wednesday, March 15, 2017, Japan time, at TAG Heuer boutiques and authorized retailers. Deliveries are scheduled to begin sequentially through the end of March in Japan. Prices start at ¥175,000 (excluding tax). A luxury kit including the smartwatch, tourbillon module, and strap is also planned for release.
