RADO, the Swiss watch maison, will serve as the Official Timekeeper for the "Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships 2012," to be held from October 1st (Mon) to 7th (Sun) in Ariake, Tokyo. To commemorate this, tickets to the non-sale Royal Box seats will be presented to three pairs (six people).

RADO has consistently pursued innovation and high technology, undertaking challenges in material development and watch design. This year marks a new challenge in the world of tennis.
The first event chosen for this Official Timekeeper role is Japan's largest tennis tournament, the "Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships." This year's tournament will feature Andy Murray of Great Britain, who became a RADO ambassador this year and reached the semi-finals of the Wimbledon Championships held this summer, as well as Japan's representative tennis player, Kei Nishikori. The tournament promises to be a thrilling spectacle with world-class athletes competing.
