Emphasizing the "Watch You Can Change" Concept
The Jura Mountains, straddling the French and Swiss borders, are a mecca for watchmaking in Switzerland, but the watch industry also thrives on the French side. Michel Herbelin was founded in 1947 in the town of Saint-Imier at the foot of the Jura Mountains and has achieved steady success.
Michel Herbelin watches are available in 50 countries and 3,000 stores worldwide, with the men's model "Newport," inspired by porthole designs, being its signature piece. A Michel Herbelin fair is currently being held at Ginza Mitsukoshi until March 29th. The featured model for this fair is the ladies' model "Antares."
The "Antares" is the flagship model of the ladies' collection and boasts exceptional popularity. It is available in a graceful rectangular case and a simple bezel with a round model, and its easily interchangeable straps have been met with great acclaim. This fair will showcase the full range of "Antares" products.
The "Antares" features a unique strap attachment system that allows for effortless removal with a simple lever operation, enabling straps to be changed with the same ease as changing clothes. In addition to stainless steel bracelets, a wide selection of leather straps is available, with variations in material, color, and length (single and long), offering over 20 different combinations.
Changing Straps Like Changing Outfits
When purchasing an "Antares" (priced from ¥90,000 to ¥329,000 excluding tax), customers can choose one single leather strap and one long leather strap. Higher-end models also include a stainless steel bracelet. This allows for strap "wardrobe changes" right at the point of purchase. Leather straps are also available for separate purchase at an accessible price (long ¥16,800, single ¥13,500, excluding tax). The concept of "Endless Changes. Antares." is truly lived up to.
To coincide with this fair, the 4-chome area of Tokyo Metro Ginza Station, adjacent to the basement of Ginza Mitsukoshi, has been adorned with pillar wraps featuring "Antares" until March 13th (Sunday). The visuals, expressing the "Antares"'s ability to change straps daily like clothing, are both humorous and elegant.
We invite you to experience the essence of this sophisticated ladies' model from a long-standing French brand on this occasion.
