The special model "Lake of Shimmer-AVANT Time Nº 3" by Tokujin Yoshioka, announced at Baselworld in March this year, generated significant buzz. This elegant Swarovski watch, which tells time with crystals cut into 12 facets, will finally be released in September.

A Bracelet Watch That Creates Beautiful Reflections Like a Facade

Tokujin Yoshioka, who works globally, continues to create works that transcend design boundaries, from art to product design for items like mobile phones. In addition to collaborations with many famous brands and global companies, he has recently partnered with Swarovski to handle the concept design for stores worldwide.

The highly anticipated special model "Lake of Shimmer-AVANT Time Nº 3" was designed by him. Its defining feature is the dial, crafted entirely from a single piece of crystal cut into 12 facets. Time is told by these dazzling, shimmering facets.

Furthermore, the bracelet, made of small hexagonal panels of stainless steel that create beautiful reflections, was inspired by the facade of the Swarovski booth at Baselworld in 2009. That facade, with its countless small mirrors, produced a shimmering effect like gentle movement in the wind, creating an emotionally rich brilliance that spread like ripples on a lake's surface.
