"Niessing Nagoya" Opens on Friday, April 13th!

Niessing, the German jeweler renowned for its minimalist designs inspired by the Bauhaus movement, is opening its first flagship store in the Tokai region, "Niessing Nagoya," on Friday, April 13th. The opening promises to be unmissable, featuring Nagoya-exclusive items and charity pieces crafted by German master artisans.

Shop Design by Cologne's Rising Design Unit, Dreiform

Niessing chose Princess Street West, adjacent to Nadia Park, as the location for its third flagship store in Japan. This area in Sakae, Nagoya, is known for its cutting-edge select shops, interior design stores, and cafes. The shop's interior was designed by Dreiform, a rising design unit based in Cologne, Germany, with numerous accolades including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Spanning approximately 73 square meters, the store fully embodies Niessing's world of design, exuding a sense of warmth within its minimalist aesthetic.

To commemorate the opening, a variety of events will be held. On Saturday, April 14th, and Sunday, April 15th, at both 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, a charity event will offer limited sales of two items each: necklaces and cord bracelets from the "Flower Disc for Charity" collection, handcrafted on-site by a visiting German artisan. Proceeds from the sales will be...the Great East Japan Earthquake...fully donated to "Kibou no Zemi," a program run by the NPO Florence to support the education and advancement of students affected by the disaster.

The Niessing Ring Open End Nagoya Edition

Additionally, the "Nagoya Edition" of "The Niessing Ring," Niessing's signature ring that uses tension to hold a diamond, maximizing its brilliance, will be available. Visitors can also explore new ring designs from the "AURA" collection, exclusively sold at direct stores.
