A Traditional Model Reimagined in a New Case Size

Rolex has launched the Lady-Datejust 28 as the new generation model of the Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust. The newly designed 28mm case houses the Calibre 2236, featuring the Syloxi silicon hairspring patented by Rolex. This movement achieves a chronometer performance of the highest caliber, unparalleled in women's watches.

The 28mm case is crafted from 950 platinum, 18K yellow gold, or 18K Everose gold (pictured: Ref. 279135RBR). Its refined lugs and middle case, along with a bracelet seamlessly integrated with the Oyster case, represent an aesthetic evolution. The intricate dial, a fusion of advanced technology and tradition, is complemented by gem-set hour markers, enhancing the elegant femininity of this magnificent timepiece.

A new model featuring a new 39mm dial has been released for the Oyster Perpetual. The Oyster Perpetual is a direct descendant of the "Oyster," the world's first waterproof wristwatch, introduced in 1926. Comprising a waterproof Oyster case and a fully in-house manufactured perpetual mechanical self-winding movement, the Oyster Perpetual is also known as a certified chronometer model that embodies all the fundamental characteristics of the Oyster collection.

This Oyster Perpetual, carrying on Rolex's heritage, is now enhanced with the series' largest 39mm size and elegant, captivating new dial colors as part of its 2015 collection.
