In 1980, Hublot sent shockwaves through the watch industry with the groundbreaking idea of combining a gold case with a simple rubber strap. It captured the desire of watch enthusiasts for something unique, and the brand has continued to propose original watches ever since.

The "Classic Fusion Original" is the model that revives the combination of a gold case and rubber strap for the modern era.

The Maison's signature yellow gold, rubber strap, and a pure black lacquer dial with a polished finish, along with faceted hands, reflect the original design by founder Carlo Crocco. Furthermore, the logo, which appears identical to the original at first glance, has been updated to a more modern design over time.

It features a bezel adorned with the six H-shaped screws that symbolize Hublot like a crest, and the mechanical movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Three case materials are available: yellow gold, titanium, and ceramic, with three case sizes offered: 42mm, 38mm, and 33mm.

With updated details and new material and size options, the "Classic Fusion Original" is a completely new, timeless, and classic timepiece that fits seamlessly into the contemporary scene.

Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe commented, "We are engaging with people and working in areas that transcend Hublot's motto of 'First, Unique, Different.' This 'Classic Fusion Original' was born 40 years after the brand's founding. Because Hublot has changed, we have redesigned this model to embody the concepts that shape us today."
