Watch brand Hublot has announced a special limited edition model, the "Big Bang Unico All Black Ginza Boutique," to commemorate the 5th anniversary of its directly managed store, the "Hublot Ginza Boutique."

Technical Prowess and Design Condensed into an All-Black Casing

Founded in 1980, Hublot has earned the support of watch enthusiasts worldwide with its innovative designs and advanced technical capabilities. In particular, its unique brand concept, "The Art of Fusion," which pursues the fusion of disparate materials and ideas, has become a defining characteristic of the brand.

The brand achieved even greater popularity with the introduction of the "Big Bang" in 2005. This collection can be seen as embodying Hublot's high technical skill, utilizing complex movements and advanced materials, especially carbon, titanium, ceramic, and sapphire.

The "Big Bang Unico All Black Ginza Boutique," announced this time, is an exclusive limited edition model celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Hublot Ginza Boutique. Based on Hublot's iconic "Big Bang Unico," this model adopts the popular "All Black" concept and is finished with a shiny treatment throughout, resulting in a black watch with a unique luster and presence.

The Hublot Ginza Boutique opened in 2020 and celebrates its 5th anniversary this year. As one of the largest Hublot stores globally, it has provided exceptional timepieces to guests from around the world.

This "Big Bang Unico All Black Ginza Boutique" serves as a commemorative model, symbolizing the essence of the Hublot brand.

The "All Black" concept originated from an innovative idea presented by Hublot in 2006. By unifying the entire watch in black, it achieves "invisible visibility." This design is widely supported as Hublot's signature style, blending luxury and sportiness.

This limited edition model thoroughly pursues that "All Black" style, with all components—including the shiny black ceramic case, bezel, dial, counters, hands, and rubber strap—unified in black, exuding Hublot's signature aesthetic.

The case measures 42mm in diameter, featuring Hublot's characteristic three-dimensional design. The bezel, adorned with six H-shaped screws reminiscent of a ship's porthole, and the lugs on the case sides are striking.

The watch is powered by Hublot's in-house caliber "Unico," a self-winding flyback chronograph movement of the latest generation developed by Hublot, boasting approximately 72 hours of power reserve. It features a column wheel at 6 o'clock, small seconds at 9 o'clock, and a 60-minute chronograph counter with a date display at 3 o'clock. Furthermore, components like the silicon escapement contribute to the watch's high performance. Its skeletonized construction also allows for appreciation of the intricate movement's operation.

Additionally, it is equipped with the patented "One Click" system, enabling easy strap changes without tools, further enhancing its practicality.

The "Big Bang Unico All Black Ginza Boutique" is limited to 50 pieces in Japan and will be sold exclusively at the Hublot Ginza Boutique and the official Hublot online boutique. It is a timepiece that satisfies both on the wrist and to the eye, representing the culmination of Hublot's technology and design.
