A Japan-Exclusive Pair of Watches Inspired by the Ogasawara Islands
TAG Heuer, a brand with deep ties to motor racing, the sea, and marine sports since its founding in 1860, has launched the "Island Journey Collection," a pair of Japan-exclusive watches. The first models to debut are diving watches inspired by Japan's own World Natural Heritage site, the Ogasawara Islands.

A Blue Dial Evoking the Seas and Skies of the Ogasawara Islands
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer is a diver's watch with a robust 300m water resistance. From this collection, a Japan-exclusive pair of watches inspired by the Ogasawara Islands has been released.
The sunray-finished dial features various shades of blue: an ocean blue for the main dial, a bright, highly legible blue for the tip of the second hand, indices, and the date display window. These blues represent the ever-changing seas and skies of the Ogasawara Islands, shifting with the light and seasons. The dial and case back are engraved with the shapes of Chichijima (Father Island) for the men's model and Hahajima (Mother Island) for the women's model. The number 50 on the bezel signifies the 50km distance between the two islands.
Both the men's and women's models are authentic diver's watches equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel and 300m water resistance.
The men's model features a 40.5mm case housing the automatic Calibre 5 movement. The women's model has a 27mm case with a quartz movement. Both are authentic diver's watches, equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel and 300m water resistance.
A portion of the proceeds from this collection will be donated to support the conservation of the Ogasawara Islands' natural environment.
The blue dial, inspired by the Ogasawara seas, is engraved with the shape of Chichijima for the men's model and Hahajima for the women's model. The navy '50' on the bezel represents the 50km distance between the two islands.
The case back is engraved with the shape of Chichijima for the men's model and Hahajima for the women's model. It also features the lettering "OGASAWARA WORLD HERITAGE" and "JAPAN LIMITED," along with the limited edition number.
