Rally Star Sébastien Ogier Appointed Ambassador

Rally star Sébastien Ogier has joined TAG Heuer as an ambassador. The brand's connection with motorsport, which has supported events like Formula 1 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, has deepened further as it celebrated its 150th anniversary last year.

TAG Heuer and motorsport are inextricably linked. In 1911, the brand introduced the "Time of Trip," a clock for car instrument panels, and in 1964, it launched the chronograph named after the road race "Carrera."ChronographIts history with automobiles is extensive.

Currently, it maintains partnerships with McLaren Mercedes in F1 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans,Audias well as the Automobile Club de Monaco, and has a long history as the official watch of the Indy 500.

TAG Heuer's "Dream Team" boasts an impressive roster of ambassadors, including F1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, and the legendary racer Alain Prost, a rival of Ayrton Senna. Now, WRC (World Rally Championship) driver Sébastien Ogier joins their ranks. This year, Ogier will participate in the 150th-anniversary events held worldwide alongside the other dream team members.

The WRC enjoys immense popularity in Europe. Ogier, a native of France, won the Junior World Rally Championship in 2008 and currently races for the top team, Citroën. He is a rising star, having secured victories twice, including at Rally Japan held in Hokkaido in 2009.

With his cool style, Ogier, a young star at 28, is drawing attention. He commented on his appointment as ambassador: "Great heroes of motorsport like Ayrton Senna built legends with TAG Heuer. I am deeply honored to join them."

Ogier, who favors TAG Heuer's stainless steel eyewear "S Quadrado 5500," will also serve as a technical consultant for the "Driving Vision" eyewear collection.

Furthermore, he is scheduled to participate in the promotion of the "Carrera 1887 Chronograph," a new model in the "Carrera" line, an iconic piece for TAG Heuer, making him a true face of the brand.
