In 2015, Gucci introduces new models to its most classic "G-Timeless" collection and the rugged "Gucci Dive" collection, now equipped with colorful NATO straps. Alongside an enhanced men's collection, the brand unveils two new women's collections, signaling a move into the wearable technology market.

As a brand, Gucci has long been dedicated to developing its watch collections. It has expanded its range of models, from high-tech quartz to traditional mechanical movements, and from unique square designs to classic round cases, all with Gucci's signature flair.

This year, while enhancing the men's collection, Gucci has also introduced two new women's collections. Pay particular attention to the men's models featuring colorful nylon NATO straps.

Furthermore, a significant announcement during Baselworld was the formation of a partnership aimed at developing wearable devices. In collaboration with i.am+, led by will.i.am, who already offers wearable tools, Gucci is developing a watch with direct communication capabilities. This fusion of Gucci's fashionable style with cutting-edge technology, termed "fashionology," represents the brand's future direction, generating considerable anticipation for its potential.

The Diamante Pattern Shines on a Simple Dial

The "G-Timeless" is Gucci's classic round watch model. Its simple style embodies timeless functionality and design, unswayed by trends. The new "G-Timeless Slim" features a 40mm case and a quartz movement.

The three central hands and minimalist dial allow the "Diamante" pattern on the surface to stand out. On the black dial shown, the white markers and indices, along with the red seconds hand, create a striking contrast. A key feature is the central stripe of Gucci's signature green-red-green on the black nylon strap, adding a vibrant touch. Colorful options have now been added to this modern and smart collection.

A Sporty Reinterpretation of the Military Strap

The "Gucci Dive" is a robust and masculine diver's watch collection, available in mechanical models with 300m water resistance and quartz models with 200m water resistance. The new "Gucci Dive" 40mm case is the 200m water-resistant quartz version.

The NATO strap, featuring Gucci's iconic green-red-green stripe, is striking. While the combination of a black dial, unidirectional rotating bezel, and Super-LumiNova hands with a NATO strap can lean heavily towards a military aesthetic, the strap's vibrant colors and Gucci's sporty watch design transform it into a fashionable item. This color scheme can be seen as a modern reinterpretation of military style, enhancing its sporty appeal. The "Gucci Dive" design has entered a new realm.

Gucci's Iconic Motif Engraved on the Case

The "Diamantissima Watch," released in 2015, is a new women's collection. As the model name suggests, it is inspired by Gucci's iconic "Diamante" pattern. This diamond-shaped pattern, found on Gucci's canvas fabrics, is familiar to many women who are acquainted with the brand.

This pattern is not only applied to the dial but also to the case sides. The contrast between pink gold and black is alluring, resulting in a feminine model brimming with Gucci's signature elegance.
