Movement: TAG Heuer's In-House Calibre 1887
The new "Carrera 1887 Chronograph Racing" features a matte black finish coated with black titanium carbide. This is a sharp, black-faced new chronograph equipped with the in-house chronograph movement "Calibre 1887" in a Grade 2 ultra-lightweight titanium case.
The sapphire crystal, second only to diamond in hardness and scratch resistance, is used for the windshield. Red accents on the chronograph hands, sub-dial hands, chronograph start/stop buttons, and stitching on the leather strap give it the most racing spirit among current models. Its relatively affordable price, under 600,000 yen, is also appealing.
