TAG Heuer has unveiled its new "Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T Tourbillon Nanograph." The brand has succeeded in developing and incorporating a new movement featuring the world's first carbon hairspring in a wristwatch, marking a significant step forward for mechanical timepieces.

An Innovative Watch with Enhanced Precision, Featuring a Tourbillon
The new "Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T Tourbillon Nanograph" joins TAG Heuer's signature Carrera collection.
This model, styled with black and neon green accents, is equipped with the new in-house "Calibre Heuer 02T Nanograph" movement, which boasts a carbon composite hairspring—a world-first in watchmaking.
The lightweight and low-density carbon composite hairspring is less susceptible to the effects of gravity and shock compared to conventional silicon or metal hairsprings. Furthermore, its ability to be manufactured as a single piece with the balance wheel has led to enhanced precision.
It is exceptionally rare for a tourbillon model to achieve COSC chronometer certification.

This model will be presented in a special case with a built-in watch winder and is scheduled for release in May 2019.
