Panerai has unveiled the new "Panerai Submersible Chrono Guillaume Nery Edition" ahead of SIHH 2019. This model pays tribute to Guillaume Nery, a French diver who has set multiple world records in freediving and now creates stunning underwater photography and videography.

A Professional Dive Watch Combining Precision and Sex Appeal

Panerai has released a new professional dive watch, the "Panerai Submersible Chrono Guillaume Nery Edition." This model is inspired by the performance, strength, and precision of Guillaume Nery, who has set world records four times in constant weight freediving and won the world championship twice.

Guillaume Nery has since retired from competition and now works as an ambassador for the ocean, producing remarkable underwater photography and films. This "Panerai Submersible Chrono Guillaume Nery Edition" embodies his performance, exceptional power, and sporty design.

It features a unidirectional rotating bezel for measuring dive time and water resistance to approximately 300 meters (30 bar). The shark-grey dial with a rough texture and luminous white hour markers ensure perfect legibility. The screw-down case back is engraved with the champion's signature and the depth of 126 meters, the record he achieved on a single breath.

The case is crafted from satin-finished titanium, offering both lightness and excellent corrosion resistance. A ceramic disc adorns the bezel, while blue accents on the hands and strap evoke the marine world. The watch is powered by the automatic P.9100 caliber flyback chronograph movement, allowing the chronograph hands to be instantly reset and restarted with a push-button at 8 o'clock, and reset with a button at 10 o'clock. This movement, with a 3-day power reserve, is developed and manufactured at Panerai's manufacture in Neuchâtel.
