The "Seamaster Diver 300M" Reimagined

For 2018, OMEGA introduced the "Seamaster Diver 300M" with a completely redesigned aesthetic.

The wave pattern from the original model is revived through laser engraving.

The "Seamaster Diver 300M," a diver's watch beloved by many since its debut in 1993, has evolved this year. This iconic watch is also known for being a long-time favorite of James Bond.

The new collection features six stainless steel models and eight bi-metal models combining stainless steel and gold, for a total of 14 variations. All cases measure 42mm and are equipped with the automatic Calibre 8800 movement, achieving Master Chronometer certification.

The exterior design has been refined in every detail. For instance, the ceramic bezel incorporates 18K Sedna™ Gold via micro-blasting or a diving scale in white enamel for enhanced whiteness and durability. The dial also uses polished ceramic, and the wave pattern from the original model has been revived through laser engraving. Dial colors include black, blue, and grey.

Luminous Super-LumiNova is applied to the indices. Legibility is enhanced by repositioning the date window to the 6 o'clock position, and the helium escape valve has been redesigned into a conical shape to improve operability, among other changes.

In addition to a classic metal bracelet, the watch is also available with an integrated black or blue rubber strap.

Furthermore, OMEGA is releasing the "Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer Titanium Tantalum Limited Edition," a limited production of 2,500 pieces, as a tribute to the original "Seamaster Diver 300M."

Tantalum, used in the original model, was distinctive for its unique blue-grey hue.

Therefore, this limited edition model recreates the nuance of the original by using tantalum for the bezel and the central link of the bracelet, creating a subtle color contrast with titanium.
