In 2016, Bulova unveiled the world's first "curved chronograph movement." This collection, born from advanced technology, features a streamlined design and a slim case made possible by the curved movement, which was impossible with conventional disc-shaped movements.

This piece is an ambitious creation that took two years to develop, and its proprietary movement is named "High Performance Quartz." At a mere 9.1 to 10.1mm thick, it offers exceptional comfort. While the see-through case back reveals the movement, it's not a typical watch; instead, it showcases the electronic circuit board. This is where the Bulova DNA, exemplified by the Accutron, resides.

Since its launch, the "Curve" collection, powered by this movement, quickly gained popularity and became the brand's main collection. This led to the creation of the highly anticipated extension model.
