Bold new colors for the 'Quai des Bergues' guilloché dials
Swiss watchmaker CZAPEK has unveiled the 'Quai des Bergues,' featuring guilloché dials in five distinct colors. It was officially presented at BASELWORLD 2018.

CZAPEK's signature 'Ricochet' handmade guilloché dial
Revived in 2013, CZAPEK carries on the legacy of François Czapek, a brilliant watchmaker active in the 19th century, who also served as a watchmaker to Napoleon III.
The 'Quai des Bergues' model, announced last autumn, is equipped with CZAPEK's unique "handmade guilloché" dial, known as 'Ricochet.' The chic Sea Salt Grey and Aqua Blue, whose tones shift with light reflection, captivated many.
Now, five new colors have been introduced.
The 'Black Prince' features a Grade 5 titanium case with an additional black ADLC (Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon) treatment, paired with a galvanic-finished guilloché dial. The use of Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour markers adds a sporty touch.
The 'Havana Brown' and 'Slate Grey' dials, finished using a galvanic process, exhibit nuanced colors that shift with the play of light, allowing you to experience the changing tones of the guilloché.
In contrast, the bold 'Rhubarb Red' and 'Rainforest Green' forgo the galvanic treatment, allowing their matte finishes to stand out.
