Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer has introduced a Japan-exclusive model, the "TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T 160th Anniversary Japan Limited Edition," powered by its in-house Calibre Heuer 02T movement.

A Tourbillon and a Touch of Yellow

The "TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T 160th Anniversary Japan Limited Edition" draws inspiration from TAG Heuer's 1960s archive pieces, featuring an elegant, vintage aesthetic. The full black PVD openworked dial is adorned with two sub-dials, offering excellent legibility. The tourbillon at the 6 o'clock position is a captivating focal point.

The flange is accented with yellow numerals at the 20-minute mark, a subtle nod to the year 2020. The strap is crafted from fine black alligator leather, suitable for business settings, and can be swapped for the included grey and black chic camouflage strap to complement any outfit.

The in-house Calibre Heuer 02T tourbillon movement comprises 284 components, with artisans dedicating five days of manual labor to craft each tourbillon. It boasts a power reserve of approximately 65 hours and is COSC-certified. The movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back, which features a special rose gold 160th-anniversary logo on the rotor. Furthermore, the case back is engraved with a serial number, making this a truly special, Japan-exclusive timepiece.
