A Collection to Savor Exotic Beauty

The Autumn/Winter 2013-14 new collection from Swarovski Jewelry, "Secret Treasures," is a journey along the legendary Silk Road, filled with sparkle and radiance. The collection unfolds like a treasure chest, with items that skillfully blend modernity and sophistication, inspired by the landscapes of China, the Himalayas, India, and Venice.

This season, Swarovski invited Shourouk, a Paris-based jewelry designer, to create a special piece. "Swarovski by Shourouk," inspired by India along the "Secret Treasures" route, will be released on August 23rd (Friday).

Shourouk, who has frequently used Swarovski crystals in her own work, has crafted magnificent necklaces adorned with black, gray, and brown crystals, as well as satin finishes. The lineup includes voluminous bib necklaces combining wide silk cords with intricate crystals, ruthenium-plated brooches, drop earrings, and large cuffs. Floral motifs seen in the brooches and earrings feature colorful crystals, strongly influenced by the vibrant hues of India.



Nathalie Colin, Creative Director of Swarovski Jewelry, who chose to collaborate with Shourouk, commented: "Shourouk's world, inspired by the jewels of the Maharajas, perfectly matches the spirit of the Secret Treasures collection."

Shourouk shared, "This collection is a journey that contemporarily revisits the India of old. India is a boundless source of inspiration. While paying tribute to the opulent Maharajas, I transformed these elements into wearable jewelry for today."
