Swarovski and Maison Martin Margiela have collaborated. The new "Maison Martin Margiela Crystalactite for Swarovski," featuring a cutting-edge fusion cut, was presented at theMaison Martin Margiela Haute Couture Show.

Avant-Garde Pieces Inspired by Stalactites

CRYSTALACTITE, a new cut crystal, employs the groundbreaking Crystal Fusion Technique. During the manufacturing process before crystal cutting, a matte white resin is mixed in, allowing for the expression of a futuristic, avant-garde, and asymmetrical beauty.

At the Maison Martin Margiela Haute Couture show, five haute couture pieces using this stalactite-like crystal, "Crystalactite," were unveiled, alongside special clip-on pieces designed to be worn anywhere from head to toe.

In addition to the haute couture creations, Swarovski is also launching a limited collection, "Maison Martin Margiela for Atelier Swarovski," inspired by the Crystalactite. This collection features pendants, rings, and bracelets, each embodying the futuristic, avant-garde, and distinctly asymmetrical allure seen in the haute couture pieces.

Maison Martin Margiela commented, "This project has enabled us to create complex structures with natural beauty. We are truly delighted with the results, both from a design and a technological advancement perspective." They described the collaboration as "the most creatively fulfilling partnership imaginable."
