GRANDMATIC, a jewelry brand directed by Michiko Nakayama, designer of MUVEIL, launches for the Spring/Summer 2013 season. It will grand open on Wednesday, March 6th, at Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 1st Floor = Accessories.

From New Products to One-of-a-Kind Vintage Pieces



GRANDMATIC is a new jewelry brand launched by Michiko Nakayama, the designer of MUVEIL. As the name "GRANDMATIC" suggests, the brand's muse is the "grandma."

Rather than any beautiful actress, a grandma who has aged gracefully possesses a more authentic beauty. The brand envisions grandmas who are beautiful in their way of life and inner selves, possessing a mysterious charm. It aims to be a jewelry brand that, like jewelry cherished and worn for many years by grandmas, offers timeless pieces that grow more beloved with use.

Furthermore, the brand offers a wide range of items, from costume jewelry to fine jewelry and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, with a focus on the unique appeal of being able to select all items from the same perspective. New products and vintage items will be displayed together in the same showcase, expressing the brand's worldview.

The collection features rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and more, using diverse materials such as gold, silver, pearls, and natural stones. With plans to consistently release new items, customers can look forward to discovering captivating new pieces with each visit.

GRANDMATIC, whose visuals evoke the brand's envisioned grandma, is set to open on Wednesday, March 6th, at Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 1st Floor = Accessories.
